Our studio runs on a six-weeks-on, one-week-off schedule.

We’ve found over many years that this schedule is the most effective way to support consistent, meaningful practice. While drop-ins are welcome, we encourage students to commit to a six-week session in order to experience the full benefits of practicing regularly.

For our students . . .

We’ve found that the six-week session format helps students stay engaged and committed to their health. Six weeks is long enough to see meaningful changes in the body and to develop familiarity with—and later, mastery over—new movements or actions.

Because students commit as a group, our teachers are able to design classes that respond to the people in the room. We understand health as an ongoing evolutionary process, one that unfolds layer by layer as the body ages and adapts. This responsive approach is central to how we support real, sustainable improvements in physical health.

For our teachers . . .

Even before we step into the room with you, we are giving our full attention and care. The week without classes is intentionally designed to give our teachers time to maintain our own practices and tend to the non-student aspects of teaching, including continuing education and program design.

By investing in our own study and sustainability, we remain healthier, more present teachers. This space keeps us more focused and creative in the service of our students and helps prevent burnout, a common issue in our field.
